The role you’ll contribute: Â
 Provides patients with support treatment, care, and evaluations prior to and during transportation.
The value you’ll bring to the team: Â
- Â Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport, under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols.
- Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines.
- Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols.
- Responsible to manage during transport, Ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Left ventricular assit devices (LVAD).
- Responsible for administration of approved medications consistent with approved EMS medical protocols.Â
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:Â
- Â Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) Required
- Licensed Paramedic (PARA) Required
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Required
- Commercial Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) Required
- Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC) Required
