ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to join the Aberdeen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales executive or early-career professional to break into technical sales within the energy and maritime industries. You’ll receive support and training to grow into the role, while playing a key part in developing new business and supporting existing customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote and sell products and services, including lifting, rigging, and rope solutions.
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients across offshore, marine, and industrial sectors.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs.
- Prepare quotes, presentations, and basic contract proposals (support provided).
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Attend meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events (with team support).
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings.
REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- A motivated, professional attitude with a passion for sales and customer engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Organised and proactive approach to managing tasks and following up leads.
- Willingness to travel.
Preferred but not Essential:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Previous work experience in a customer-facing, technical, or sales-related role*.
- Interest or exposure to offshore, marine, energy, or industrial environments.
Some proof of experience in sales or at least commercial skills is necessary!
