A great opportunity is now available for a Manual Machinist to join a reputable Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen. This opportunity will be on a 6-month contract basis with the potential of this extending. You must have demonstrable experience of manual Turning and Milling as it is important that you can hit the ground running within a busy workshop. You will be joining a company who are winning regular contracts with an impressive portfolio of clients and gaining repeat business.
Responsibilities:
- Perform machining operations by working from specifications, drawings and blueprints.
- Perform calculations in accordance with tooling and dimensions.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Use a range of precision instruments to maintain accurate tolerances.
- Work in a team environment.
Must:
- Have manual Milling/ Turning experience.
- Have demonstrable experience in a machining role.
- Have experience working to tight tolerances.
