Working Hours: Nights (4 on: 4 off)
Pay Rate: Negotiable DOE

Join a major UK Rail company supporting fleet maintenance activities.

Ganymede Solutions is working in partnership with a leading Rail Company to recruit experienced Roling Stock Technician’s to support planned, preventative maintenance on fleets in operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role support the maintenance and operation of modern passenger fleet.

As a Rolling Stock Technician, you’ll play a key role in Repair and Maintenance of operational passenger fleet. This will include:

• Inspections and exams

• Follow technical guidance (VMI, exam timing, etc) ensuring all maintenance and testing is complete, accurate, and on time

• Inspection, diagnosis and repair, along with documentation support of rolling stock on depot

•  Follow VMI, exam timing, etc ensuring all maintenance and testing is complete, accurate, and on time.

•  Complete documentation as required for exams

•  Support colleagues as needed with servicing, fuelling, cleaning, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A Level 3 qualification in any engineering discipline or related trades
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working within the rolling stock industry
• The ability to follow modification instructions and technical drawings
• Experience in conducting Exams and fault find and fix on modern passenger rolling stock systems
• The ability to pass a Medical and Drugs & Alcohol test
• Right to Work documentation prepared for pre-employment compliance
• A flexible, reliable, and safety-conscious work ethic
