Position Overview:
What we are focussed on is you. We will give you the tools to succeed through your journey within the procurement field, including your CIPS qualification, but the drive and passion has to come from you. The successful candidate will bring experience and understanding in sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and cost efficiency across procurement functions. This role requires excellent organisational skills, an understanding of procurement strategies, and the willingness to develop.
Role Overview:
As a Procurement Consultant, you will work with cross-functional teams to assess procurement processes, develop sourcing strategies, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost efficiencies across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse current procurement strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with Directors to develop and implement sourcing plans and category strategies.
- Conduct supplier market research and evaluations.
- Undertake procurement tendering, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding.
- Advise on risk management, compliance, and sustainability in the supply chain.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain consulting.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and contract management.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle).
