Hire Controller
Aberystwyth

13ph + 28 Days Holiday + Overtime Opportunties

8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Hire Controller to join a well-established recycling company based in Aberystwyth. This is a key role supporting the daily hire and logistics operations, ensuring customers receive prompt and professional service. You'll be responsible for managing hire requests, coordinating with drivers, maintaining accurate records, and delivering excellent customer service.



Responsibilities of a Hire Controller:


  • Handle incoming hire enquiries via phone and email

  • Process orders and schedule equipment deliveries and collections

  • Liaise with the transport and operations teams to manage availability of equipment

  • Update hire management systems and ensure accurate paperwork is completed

  • Assist in resolving customer issues and ensure high service standards are maintained

  • Support stock control and inventory checks

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures


Ideal Candidate for Hire Controller:


  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Previous experience in a logistics, hire desk or customer service role preferred

  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure

  • IT literate with experience using booking or CRM systems
