Finance Manager
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Part-Time available)
Location: South Oxfordshire
Salary: £35,000 to £46,195 per annum depending on experience

Reed Accountancy have partnered with a continually growing business in South Oxfordshire who are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the efficient and timely preparation of monthly management accounts, and coordinate the accounts function across their branches in the region. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the business and ensuring accurate financial reporting, and is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate the Accounts function, including line management responsibilities.
- Produce monthly management accounts packs, including P&L analysis and cash flow forecasts.
- Manage end-to-end payroll for a staff of 120, liaising with an external payroll provider.
- Complete bank and supplier statement reconciliations, as well as trade debtor reconciliations.
- Prepare and post a range of adjustment, correction, and payroll journals.
- Generate aged debtor and sales reports.
- Provide necessary information to Company Accountants for Quarterly VAT returns and management accounts.
- Oversee the credit control function.
- Undertake ad hoc projects as required by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting.
- Strong ability to produce and analyse management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts.
- Experience in payroll management and working with external payroll providers.
- Proficient in bank and account reconciliations.
- Skilled in the use of financial software and systems.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and courteously with colleagues and clients.
- Keen, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a reliable team member.
