Overview:

We’re looking for a capable and reliable Level 1 Deskside Support Engineer to provide corporate IT support at a busy site in Witney. This role is to backfill a mid-term sickness absence, and while initially for 2 months, there is potential for extension depending on circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deskside IT support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues
  • Support users with standard corporate technologies, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions
  • Escalate more complex problems to 2nd/3rd line support teams as needed
  • Ensure excellent customer service to end users onsite

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Level 1 corporate deskside support role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of Windows desktop environments
  • Clear communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day IT issues confidently
  • Availability to start immediately on-site in Witney
