Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Level 2) - Classroom & 1:1 Support

Job Description:
Veritas Education is currently seeking Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Accrington. These roles involve a combination of classroom support and 1:1 assistance for pupils with additional needs. Responsibilities:

Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide 1:1 support to pupils who may need extra help with learning or behaviour
Assist with classroom routines and help maintain a positive learning environment
Encourage pupil participation, independence, and confidence
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs to support individual learning plans
Contribute to the emotional and social development of pupils

What We're Looking For:

A relevant qualification, such as Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
Experience working with children in a primary school setting
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for helping children succeed
