Senior HR Advisor Vacancy, Accrington, Lancashire£38,000-£40,000Office based39 hours per weekHR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR professional to join our expanding company based in Accrington, Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity to join their newly appointed Head of HR and wider HR and Training, Learning and Development team in advancing the HR function.

Role Responsibilities

  • Providing advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support managers in their HR responsibilities. 
  • Delivering recruitment strategies within HR business strategy, supporting the hiring process, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. 
  • Being the support role for employee inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary issues, aiming to resolve matters fairly and efficiently and in accordance with Company Policy and procedures.
  • Supporting managers with performance reviews, appraisals, and development plans. Working closely with the Training, Learning and development Manager to ensure that all training is requested, approved and completed within timescales.
  • Ensuring HR policies are effectively implemented and communicated throughout the organisation. 
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee information, Employee Files, performance data, and other relevant information. Having complete responsibility for the maintenance of Bright HR, ensuring that all information is on the system, up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Responsible for setting up systems and tracking procedures for the management of HR and Training KPI’s
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation and HR best practices. 

Person Specification

  • CIPD Level 5 or working towards is essential
  • Effectively communicating complex HR information to a variety of audiences. 
  • Identifying and resolving HR issues effectively and efficiently. 
  • Analysing HR data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop effective HR strategies. Maintaining KPI data for reporting purposes.
  • A thorough understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices. 
  • A strong understanding of relevant employment legislation and regulations. 
  • Building rapport with managers and employees and providing a positive and supportive HR service.
