Marble Talentare currently recruiting for a Transport Managerbased in a depot inAddlestone!
Responsibilities -
- Manage daily logistics for equipment movements across the Surrey, London, Kent and Sussex area.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements (Tachographs, driver hours, etc.)
- Lead and coordinate a team of drivers, schedulers, and transport staff
- Monitor fleet maintenance, servicing, and inspections in coordination with the workshop.
- Oversee transport planning, routing, and scheduling to optimise efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and reports for audits and inspections
Personal Requirements -
- Experience as a Transport Manager ideally within the plant industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK transport laws andvehicle weights/dimensions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Route planning software experience
