Maintenance engineer - Aldershot - 45k
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a well-established manufacturing business that specialises in precision-engineered components. The company is experiencing consistent growth and is now seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its dedicated maintenance team.
This is a hands-on role ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all plant machinery and mechanical equipment across multiple production sites.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Ensure the operation and reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment through effective preventative maintenance
+Troubleshoot and fault-find mechanical and electrical issues
+Design, fabricate, and repair jigs
+Respond rapidly to production breakdowns
Key skills:
+ Experience with ProtoTRAK CNC mill controls and GE Fanuc series Oi CNC lathe controls
+Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
+Hands-on experience with both mechanical systems and electrical fault-finding
