This could be the role for you!I'm recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly, down-to-earth finance team based in a vibrant office near the stunning Loch Lomond. This is an initial 3-month temporary contract to support a busy period - but there's real potential for it to become permanent.Hours:Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week)What you'll be doing:* Processing invoices accurately and efficiently, matching to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies* Reconciling bank, supplier, and customer accounts to ensure clean audit trails* Performing cash ups and credit card reconciliations* Entering financial data into systems with accuracy and attention to detail* Handling accounts payable and assisting with payment runs* Managing finance inboxes, responding to queries and chasing as needed* Assisting the Financial Controller with regular reporting and flagging any issues* Carrying out general administrative and ad hoc office tasks as requiredWhat we're looking for:* Strong written and numerical skills* Ability to organise and prioritise workload independently* Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)* At least 1 year's experience in a finance role or relevant finance qualificationsThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative, upbeat team and wants to feel genuinely valued at work.Apply now, or for more information, contact me directly at:
