As an Extrusion Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading a production shift, driving performance through continuous improvement and promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will use lean manufacturing principles to deliver sustainable improvements, coach and develop your team, and ensure that daily operational targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people.
• Monitor team and production performance, identifying and implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout the shift.
• Develop team capability through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Drive productivity by identifying and eliminating waste within processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
• Lead team meetings, manage daily priorities, and ensure smooth shift handovers.

Requirements:

• Minimum five years' experience in a similar manufacturing or production leadership role (preferably in extrusion).
• Proven track record in implementing lean principles, developing teams, and driving process improvements.
• Leadership and Management qualification and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
• Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
• Experience in conducting appraisals, coaching team members, and managing performance issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Adaptable, detail-focused, and committed to delivering sustainable results.

Salary: 48,246 Per Annum (Including Shift Allowance).

Working hours: Regular days Four-on / four-off shift pattern.

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
