About the Role:
Derbyshire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our busy Children and Families team in the Amber Valley locality. This key frontline role involves managing a caseload that includes Single Assessments, Children in Need (CIN), and Child Protection (CP) cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of Single Assessments, CIN, and CP cases
Work collaboratively within the team to support children and families
Undertake court work and engage with legal processes as required
Ensure high standards of safeguarding and child protection practice
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying frontline Social Work experience
Proven experience working within child protection and safeguarding
Experience in court work and understanding of legal processes related to children's social care
Ability to work independently and manage a demanding caseload efficiently
