Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Community - Derbyshire Location: Derbyshire Pay Rate: £ 33/per hourLiquid Personnel is seeking an experienced adult social worker to join their esteemed client. To be successful in this role, you must have registration with Social Work England (SWE) as a Social Worker and hold a qualification equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW). This role involves working within a community team to manage complex cases and provide a range of social work interventions. The ideal candidate will have post-qualified experience and be eligible to work in the UK

Requirements for the role:

  • Work within a busy, generic adult care team based in Ilkeston, delivering statutory services under the Care Act 2014.
  • Carry out strengths-based assessments and reviews for individuals with complex needs, arranging appropriate services to meet eligible outcomes.
  • Engage with adults and their families in a person-centred way to promote independence and maximise wellbeing.
  • Undertake safeguarding enquiries and mental capacity assessments in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Participate in the team's duty rota, providing timely and effective responses to new referrals and urgent situations.
