Corporate Tax Manager

Altrincham

£45,000 - £65,000 (Hybrid Work Model & Wider Benefits)

We are currently working with a leading independent tax advisory firm who are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Compliance and Advisory Manager to join their dynamic team based in Altrincham.

The firm is renowned for delivering specialist, high-value tax advice to a diverse range of entrepreneurial clients, corporates, and private clients.

This dual-focused role is ideal for someone seeking both technical challenges, equivalent to the Big 4, and client exposure in a high-quality, boutique advisory setting.

Your New Role:

  • Work with clients including entrepreneurs and founders, growing SMEs undergoing investment, sale, or restructuring, HNWI's with complex UK and offshore tax profiles and professional advisers.
  • While there is compliance management involved, the work is predominantly high-pressure and exciting, transaction-driven corporate tax advisory.
  • Support on a wide range of advisory projects including M&A transactions and due diligence, group reorganisations and demergers, R&D claims and innovation reliefs and cross-border structuring
  • Work closely with ex Big 4 Partners and have open lines of communication across the firm
  • Supervise and support junior team members, offering guidance and technical review.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified
  • You will come from a professional services background having worked in UK Corporate tax, with experience and exposure to tax advisory projects.
