The Role

  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with a range of SEN, particularly Autism (ASC)
  • Building positive, trusting relationships and using calm, consistent communication strategies
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, transitions, and structured routines
  • Helping children access learning alongside the class teacher and SENCO
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and encouraging environment where every child feels valued

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with autism or communication needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
  • Previous experience as a TA, support worker, youth worker, or in a child-centred role
  • Commitment to helping children grow in confidence and independence
