Are you passionate about the outdoors and ready to step into a leadership role in one of the UK’s most stunning outdoor locations? Cotswold Outdoor Group, home to Cotswold Outdoor, is looking for a driven Assistant Store Manager to join our welcoming and experienced team in Grasmere.

Based in the heart of the Lake District National Park, you’ll support a passionate team and help customers gear up for adventures big and small from local hikes to international expeditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operational Support: Help manage stock, audits, banking, and general store operations
• Team Leadership: Motivate, develop, and lead a team of outdoor enthusiasts
• Customer Excellence: Champion top-tier service and deliver outstanding in-store experiences
• Sales Initiatives: Support and implement seasonal sales strategies to achieve targets

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in retail management, ideally in the outdoor, apparel, or footwear sectors
• A genuine passion for outdoor pursuits and technical product knowledge
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset and team-first approach
