About the Role:

A high-achieving secondary school in Amersham is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach well-resourced classes across Key Stages 3 to 5, in a supportive and forward-thinking environment that values digital literacy and innovation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons, developing learners’ technical skills and critical thinking, and preparing students for GCSE and A-Level assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across KS3–KS5, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extracurricular clubs
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for digital learning and technological advancement in education
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
