I'm partnering exclusively with a valued client to recruit an experienced Production Team Leader to join their fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a natural leader with a hands-on approach and a passion for motivating and developing high-performing teams.

Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure the working practices and duties are carried out in line with current health and safety legislation and company policies
- Identify any skill gaps and ensure the team are trained to maintain a minimum qualified level of resource to achieve business needs
- Lead, motivate and influence team members to achieve daily quality and production targets
- Ensure the team are effectively used on the line - rotating where needed and deploying skills where they are needed
- Encourage and support the team, raising and resolving issues quickly and effectively using company policies and leadership skills
- Partner departmental functions within the business to ensure smooth operating practices
- Positively coach team members to fulfil the business objectives
- Record and share shift performance with the team and management
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the production environment contributing to continuous improvement initiatives where possible
- Be a positive influence on the team and provide constructive feedback to them and other key roles
- Encourage the company values are being adhered to and ensure they are being demonstrated in a leading by example approach

- IOSH Working Safely

- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Health and Safety knowledge
