Financial Accounting Manager – £70,000Location: AndoverHybrid: flexible Contract: Permanent
Are you ready to take the lead in delivering financial clarity and control for a growing, successful business?We’re working with a market-leading organisation to recruit a talented Financial Accounting Manager to oversee reporting for a key business unit and play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making.
In this role you will:
- Deliver accurate, timely monthly management accounts and group reporting packs.
- Be the key contact for Group Finance and external auditors, leading audits with confidence.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team.
- Oversee purchase ledger operations, payroll checks, and ensure robust internal controls.
- Reconcile balance sheets, maintain fixed assets and lease records, and manage intercompany transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities with senior stakeholders.
- Lead process improvements and maintain strong financial governance.
- Assist with sustainability reporting and R&D tax claim preparation.
What we’re looking for:
- Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA accountant.
- Strong financial and management reporting experience.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with the confidence to lead under pressure.
