About the Role
Berry Recruitment are seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join a leading organisation in the SP10 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with facilities management experience who is looking to step into a role with responsibility for supporting workplace operations and service delivery.
You will assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring a consistent workplace experience, managing day-to-day services, and acting as a point of contact for stakeholders. The role covers a wide range of facilities functions including cleaning, security, maintenance, reception, catering, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Facilities Manager in delivering all FM services across site
Oversee operational teams including cleaning, security, and maintenance staff
Ensure health & safety compliance and conduct audits
Assist with workplace changes, inductions, and stakeholder engagement
Maintain accurate records of moves, changes, and compliance documentation
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contractors
Promote a "One Team" approach across all service lines
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in customer-facing facilities management
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to achieve)
Flexibility to support service delivery needs
Computer literacy and confidence with reporting tools
