The Role of the Mechanical Project Engineer:
As Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll be working closely with the Project Manager to ensure the mechanical package is delivered to the highest standard. Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing installation of HVAC systems and plant rooms
- Reviewing technical submittals and drawings
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating with other trades
- Ensuring quality control and H&S compliance on site
- Progress reporting and supporting commissioning phases
What You'll Need:
- A background working with leading M&E or building services contractors
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer on major commercial or mixed-use projects
- HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (or equivalent)
- Strong technical knowledge and the confidence to coordinate with design teams and subcontractors
- A proactive and solutions-driven mindset
