Position: HVAC Contracts Manager

Location: Rochester

Salary: 50-60k

An experienced Air Conditioning and Ventilation Contract Manager is required for a well-established HVAC & Mechanical contractor based in Kent, operating for over 25 years. Specializing in the design, installation, and servicing of HVAC systems, they seek a skilled professional to manage projects up to 1m. The ideal candidate must be within a commutable distance of Kent and have at least five years of HVAC contract management experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing projects from inception to handover, conducting site visits and surveys, preparing designs, estimates, and quotations, negotiating purchases, supervising labour, managing commissioning, client training, and O&M documentation. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, typical project values range from 1,000 to 1m, with most between 100k-600k.

• Review contract documentation at order stage.
• Maintaining electronic filing systems for all project records.
• Set contract timeline and monitor contract timeline
• Full cost control and resolution of any disputes.
• Monthly cost forecasts, achieving projected revenues, and gross margins.
• Deliver an end-to-end process and liaise with all involved
• Conduct regular safety and quality audits on site with your engineers and sub-contractors to ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with defined procedures

HVAC Contracts Manager Job Requirements

• Live within a commutable distance of Kent
• Be able to conduct estimating and support on design on projects
• HVAC Project Management experience
• Technical knowledge across HVAC products
• Full UK Driving Licence

HVAC Contracts Manager Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary between 55,000-60,000 DOE
• Car Allowance or Company Car
• 28 Days annual leave including Bank Holidays
• Yearly Bonus
