�? About the RoleWe are seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated Head of School (Secondary) to join our leadership team at a well-established non-maintained special school for children aged 5–16. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of a therapeutic educational setting that supports students with a range of complex needs, including Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

?? Key Responsibilities- Provide daily operational leadership across the secondary phase.
- Lead on a key area of the school’s self-evaluation and development plan.
- Monitor and evaluate school outcomes alongside the Assistant Headteacher.
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality SEN&D teaching and learning.
- Report directly to the Headteacher and contribute to strategic planning.
- A qualified teacher (QTS) with leadership experience in SEN or mainstream settings.
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and improving outcomes for pupils with SEN&D.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for therapeutic education.
- Experience working with students with Autism and SEMH needs.
