Graduate Planner - Kent

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established housebuilder in their search for a Graduate Planner to join the team in Kent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to begin their planning career within a supportive and growing business. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments and offers a clear pathway for professional development.

The Role
As a Graduate Planner, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

  • Support colleagues with site appraisals and research

  • Undertake planning policy analysis and background reports

  • Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders

  • Gain exposure to the full planning process from inception to delivery

About You

  • A degree or master's in Town Planning or a related subject (RTPI accredited preferred)

  • A genuine passion for planning and development, particularly within the residential sector

  • Strong communication, analytical and report-writing skills

  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a desire to progress towards chartered RTPI membership
