- Provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to all members of staff in Legal Services
- Prepare documents, including correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
- Assist with the management of legal documents and records, including filing, copying, and archiving
- Support the Monitoring Officer and Deputy Monitoring Officer in respect of interests of and complaints against Councillors
- Assist fee-earners with correspondence and document management using the Iken case management system
- Provide paralegal support in the preparation of Court and Tribunal documentation and the service of statutory notices and other documents
- Assist the Legal Support Officer as required with the management of the legal library and the sealing of legal documents
- Provide assistance to the Correspondence Unit providing electronic document management and business document production when requested
- Previous experience within legal administration would be preferable
- 3 GCSE’s at grades A-C or equivalent
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and keen to help other staff with a wide range of tasks
- Enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Willingness to work additional hours on occasions, to help cover for absences
- IT skills, telephone skills, copy-typing ability, and audio-typing ability
