This role will involve booking appointments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the delivery of housing stock condition inspections. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for flexible hybrid work in a supportive, public sector setting.Your key duties within the role will include:
  • Book appointments for surveyors to carry out housing inspections and maintain accurate records of attendance, refusals, and no-shows.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with tenants and colleagues to ensure smooth communication and efficient scheduling.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and inspection records using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and internal systems.
  • Support the wider planned maintenance team with ad hoc admin tasks to reduce service disruption.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and accuracy in data handling.
Requirements
  • Proven administrative experience within a customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident using IT systems and software, including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and data handling procedures.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Experience in social housing, planned maintenance, or property services.
