Learning Support AssistantKey Responsibilities:

Working closely with the class teacher, you will provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, ensuring they are fully engaged in lessons and supported both academically and emotionally. You will assist in preparing lesson materials, adapting resources to meet individual learning needs, and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

You will be:

  • Supporting pupils' learning through targeted interventions and in-class assistance
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress to teaching staff
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
  • Promoting pupils' confidence, independence, and emotional well-being

The ideal candidate will be proactive, patient, and committed to helping children thrive. Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children with diverse needs are essential. Experience in a similar role or with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable but not required.
