Location: Near Longfield, Kent
Salary: 150 to 250 (depending on experience and if Long term or D2D Supply)
Contract: Full Time, Long term, Day 2 Day Supply

About the Role
We are working in partnership with an Outstanding specialist academy in the DA3 area that provides education and care for pupils aged 2-19 with a wide range of learning needs, including ASD, SLD, PMLD, and complex communication difficulties.
The school is seeking a passionate and creative SEN Teacher to join its dedicated and skilled team. You'll be working in a highly supportive environment where every pupil has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and learning is carefully personalised to help each student reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons tailored to meet a variety of special educational needs.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and multi-disciplinary professionals to support holistic pupil development.
- Use creative teaching approaches, including communication aids and sensory strategies, to promote engagement and independence.
- Contribute to the school's wider community, supporting enrichment activities and pastoral care.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs (ASD, MLD, SLD, or PMLD).
- A compassionate, adaptable approach and genuine passion for inclusive education.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative working.
