Tameside Council are looking for an Experienced Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support for Child Protection Case Conference meetings. This role is crucial in coordinating meetings and maintaining accurate records, ensuring the smooth operation of child protection processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coordinate child protection meetings, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Respond to telephone enquiries and requests for information promptly and courteously.
  • Maintain computerised information systems, including data entry and management.
  • Comply with all procedures related to administrative processes and the handling of sensitive information.
  • Arrange meetings for the Local Area Designated Officer (LADO) and ensure all meetings are set up via Microsoft Teams.
  • Minute LADO meetings accurately and distribute minutes once approved.
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and other computerised systems as required.
  • The role may involve other duties as assigned, which correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with the levels of responsibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a similar setting.
  • Minute Taking
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with other computerised information systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with legal frameworks.
  • A typing test will be required during the interview process to assess accuracy and speed.
