Your New Role
- Command and nurture key 3PL partnerships, ensuring delivery against KPIs, contracts, and operational excellence.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations on contracts, costs, and services to keep Aldi ahead in the market.
- Scout and secure new 3PL relationships, aligning with Aldi’s evolving business needs.
- Drive multiple cross-functional supply chain projects, collaborating with Buying, RDCs (Regional Distribution Centres), and suppliers to hit ambitious deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all business levels.
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives that optimize processes and guarantee seamless product availability.
- Play a key role in delivering peak season successes, including Christmas and other critical events.
- Be an integral part of executing the department’s strategic vision, partnering with teams across Aldi to meet and exceed expectations.
- Supply Chain experience

- Retail/Supply Chain/Logistics experience
- Confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels is key.
- Need strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Ability to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organisational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Innate curiosity; always striving to improve and simplify processes and ensure consistency wherever possible.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, be pro-active and work on own initiative, working both in a team and independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to investigate and analyse a challenge and offer a solution.

- Flexible and resilient when workload demands it
- Supply Chain department within retailers or 3PL's
- Managing, improving and delivering change in 3PL's
- Demonstrate ability to design and implement solutions effectively
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage external providers
- Strong negotiationand commercial acumen
- Previous background within operational environments including day-to-day management, cost negotiations and contract management
- Knowledge of Supply Chain systems (TWS/WMS/Portals etc.)
- SAP experience
What You’ll get in Return
- Salary starting £36,625 rising to £42,270
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 day a week remote working
