Mazco Recruitment are proud to be representing a leading aerospace precision engineering company in their search for an experienced Universal Grinder (Manual) to join their highly skilled team in Atherstone.

The Role:

As a Manual Universal Grinder, you will play a crucial role in producing high-precision aerospace components to exacting standards. This is a hands-on position, working with a variety of materials and tolerances within a busy, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating manual cylindrical and surface grinders

• Working to tight aerospace tolerances and detailed technical drawings

• Machining a range of aerospace components in various materials

• Ensuring quality control through regular inspection and measurement

• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working area

The Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Universal Grinder / Manual Grinder

• Strong knowledge of cylindrical and surface grinding techniques

• Background in aerospace precision engineering (advantageous)

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
