Are you passionate about supporting young children in their earliest years of education? A wonderful and welcoming infant school in Aylesbury is looking to appoint a Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing and committed Early Years team this September.

About the Role

You will work alongside experienced class teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences for children in Nursery or Reception. The ideal candidate will be proactive, kind, and child-centred with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through play and structured activities

  • Foster a warm and stimulating environment for all children

  • Work with individuals and small groups, including children with SEND and EAL

  • Monitor and record pupil progress in line with EYFS goals

  • Contribute to planning, displays and general classroom organisation

Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)

  • Recent experience supporting children in an Early Years setting

  • A clear understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • A positive, team-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
