Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging, creative lessons in Design Technology with a focus on Resistant Materials and Graphics, for Key Stages 3 to 5
  • Planning, assessing, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Encouraging problem-solving, design thinking, and practical skills in a safe, well-equipped learning environment
  • Contributing to a whole-school vision for excellence in teaching and learning
  • Inspiring students to understand the real-world applications and responsibilities of design and technology in modern society

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS/PGCE (or equivalent international qualification)
  • A subject specialist with a strong understanding of the KS3–KS5 Design Technology curriculum
  • A reflective practitioner with strong classroom management and assessment strategies
  • A valid DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
  • Two professional references covering the past two years
