Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader

Pertemps is currently recruiting for a experienced warehouse supervisor/team leader for our logistics client based in Aylesbury.

As a hands-on manager, you will drive change within the team and maintain motivation with their roles. The ideal candidate will be committed and passionate to assist in the growth of the business, therefore becoming an asset and developing with the company.

Hours: 2pm-10pm

Salary: 36,000


Location: Aylesbury (you must access to your own transport)

Duties:

- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees while establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals.
- Manage staffing levels within the department through controlled approval of leave requests and absence management in line with company policy.
- Review and prepare workflow, staffing and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service are met.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards/procedures while complying with legal regulations.
- Consolidation and stock transfers
- Ensuring all Despatch parcels and pallets are prepared ready for collection
- Cycle counts and stock takes

Requirements for this role:

- People management in a similar role
- Proficient in knowledge of warehouse procedures and policy
- Health and Safety warehouse knowledge
- Forklift licence
- UK full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
