Hours: Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Our client, a leading innovator in the technology sector, is dedicated to enhancing product quality and safety through advanced technological solutions. They are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and a passion for coaching and developing team members. This role requires someone who is analytical, customer-focused, and able to respond to on-call duties on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Provide coaching and development to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Be on call one in four weeks to handle customer enquiries over the phone and arrive on site within 45 minutes if needed.
  • Utilise analytical skills to monitor and improve warehouse processes, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
  • Excellent coaching and team development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Counterbalance Forklift license is beneficial.
