We are seeking a skilled Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a well-regarded primary school in Aston Clinton. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside class teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and differentiated learning activities
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping pupils achieve their full potential
  • Adapt resources and teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with SEN or EAL
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, focused classroom environment
  • Support in assessing pupil progress and delivering feedback to inform next steps in learning
  • Participate actively in school life, including professional development, staff meetings, and enrichment activities

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a primary school setting
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to supporting teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to pupil well-being and progress
  • A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references
