SEN GCSE Outreach Tutor
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and qualified SEN GCSE Outreach Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 education packages to students who are not currently attending mainstream school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students and be passionate about offering engaging lessons that bridge gaps in educational attainment.
As an Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised, structured lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student. This role is perfect for experienced educators looking to step away from traditional classroom teaching and make a real difference in the lives of young people by providing a more flexible and supportive learning environment.
Many of the students will have been out of formal education for some time, and may face challenges such as low confidence or disengagement. Your role will be to build rapport, re-engage students in their learning, and offer a structured routine that fosters both academic and personal growth.
Prospero Teaching will provide support to ensure that you have the resources and guidance needed to track the progress of each student, while making a positive impact on their educational journey.
