International Freight & Customs Coordinator

We're working with a well-established and growing freight forwarder who are looking to add an International Freight & Customs Coordinator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working across imports, exports, and freight operations - with a real focus on customs documentation and compliance.

Whether you're an experienced Customs Clerk looking to step into a more rounded operational role, or a Freight Operator with solid customs knowledge, this one's for you.

• Managing import, export and cross-trade movements from start to finish.

• Preparing and submitting customs declarations and reviewing all clearance paperwork.

• Handling ATA Carnets and Temporary Importation documentation.

• Building strong relationships with clients, hauliers, and suppliers.

• Preparing quotations, checking rates, and keeping tariffs up to date.

• Keeping customers informed throughout and ensuring a smooth shipment process.

• Previous experience within freight forwarding / customs clearance within the UK

• Solid understanding of UK Tariffs and market trends

• Good knowledge of freight operations.

• Knowledge of handling ATA Carnets, Temporary Importation

• Someone proactive, reliable, and confident managing multiple shipments at once.

• A supportive, friendly team with a great working environment

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (1-hour lunch)

• 22 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays

• Salary up to 30,000 depending on experience

• Some hybrid flex on occasions
