English Teacher - Long-Term Role in Rossendale (Temp to Perm)
We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced English teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Rossendale after the October half term. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Start Date: ASAP - Week commencing Monday 3rd November 2025
Location: Rossendale, Lancashire
Contract Type: Long-term (Temp to Perm)
About the Role:
- Teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Full-time position in a mainstream secondary school
- Working within a supportive department with strong leadership
- Managing challenging behaviour effectively and positively
Candidate Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Proven ability to manage behaviour confidently and constructively
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
