About the Role
Join a respected care provider as a Deputy Home Manager and help launch a brand-new residential service for adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs. You'll lead a passionate team, deliver person-centred care, and empower residents to live independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop staff through supervision, coaching, and induction
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and maintain high-quality care
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice for residents
- Implement the Mental Capacity Act (2005) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2008)
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders
- Oversee staff performance, training, and policy compliance
- Participate in the on-call leadership rota
About You
Essential:
- Experience managing or working in a residential care service
- Knowledge of CQC standards and inspections
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, or complex needs
- Safeguarding knowledge and investigative experience
