Reed HR are working with a fast growing manufacturer, looking to expand their internal TA team. We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to help drive our growth strategy by generating talent pipelines and leading recruitment efforts in our manufacturing and assembly operations. This is a fixed-term position for 1 year, ideal for someone passionate about making a significant impact in a scaling company.
Day-to-day of the role:- Own the full-cycle recruitment process for all manufacturing and assembly positions, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Develop and implement strategic workforce plans, aligning recruitment activities with business goals.
- Provide strategic advice to hiring managers, offering insights and recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
- Proactively plan and pipeline talent through needs assessments and hiring forecasts with key stakeholders.
- Lead employer branding efforts in the manufacturing sector and establish talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Manage relationships with external staffing vendors and educational institutions to support staffing needs.
- Optimize recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Facilitate structured interview processes that align with role requirements and competencies.
- Manage high-volume recruiting initiatives and ensure compliance with labour laws and safety standards.
- Proven recruitment experience, including managing multiple recruitment campaigns in ROI & the UK.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment and implementing best practice recruitment methods.
- Familiarity with online recruitment systems.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
- Full clean UK / ROI driving license, as the role is based at both Banbridge & Dundalk Facilities.
- Strong organisational and influencing skills, with effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strategic thinker capable of building talent pipelines in line with growth plans.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
- Preferably holding a relevant business-related degree or HR qualification and experience in the Construction/Engineering industry.
