Reed HR are working with a fast growing manufacturer, looking to expand their internal TA team. We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to help drive our growth strategy by generating talent pipelines and leading recruitment efforts in our manufacturing and assembly operations. This is a fixed-term position for 1 year, ideal for someone passionate about making a significant impact in a scaling company.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process for all manufacturing and assembly positions, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Develop and implement strategic workforce plans, aligning recruitment activities with business goals.
  • Provide strategic advice to hiring managers, offering insights and recommendations to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Proactively plan and pipeline talent through needs assessments and hiring forecasts with key stakeholders.
  • Lead employer branding efforts in the manufacturing sector and establish talent pipelines for critical roles.
  • Manage relationships with external staffing vendors and educational institutions to support staffing needs.
  • Optimize recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate structured interview processes that align with role requirements and competencies.
  • Manage high-volume recruiting initiatives and ensure compliance with labour laws and safety standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven recruitment experience, including managing multiple recruitment campaigns in ROI & the UK.
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment and implementing best practice recruitment methods.
  • Familiarity with online recruitment systems.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Full clean UK / ROI driving license, as the role is based at both Banbridge & Dundalk Facilities.
  • Strong organisational and influencing skills, with effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strategic thinker capable of building talent pipelines in line with growth plans.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
  • Preferably holding a relevant business-related degree or HR qualification and experience in the Construction/Engineering industry.
