JOB ADVERT: Business Support & Finance Administrator - Banbury
Position: Business Support & Finance AdministratorLocation: Banbury, OxfordshireSalary: £24,500 - £25,500
We are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support & Finance Administrator to join our professional team based in Banbury. This role plays a key part in supporting the firm’s day-to-day operations across administrative, finance, and facilities functions.
Purpose of the Role
To provide high-quality administrative and financial support to Partners, managers, and staff. The focus will be on general office management, facilities coordination, and accounts-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate property and facilities tasks: contractors, H&S, fire risk, insurance renewals
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts
- Admin inbox management and issue resolution
- Sales & Purchase Ledger support (billing, credit notes, supplier entries, payment runs)
- Post disbursements and staff expenses in CCH
- Assist Credit Controller with payment processing
- Prepare management reports and update internal systems (CCH/Xero)
- Maintain time entries, generate reports, and chase outstanding items
- Support internal invoicing and partner admin
- Provide HR admin support and assist with onboarding in CCH/Xero
- Bank cheques and general administrative duties
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a business administrative role
- Fully computer literate with strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficient in CRM and accounting systems (preferably CCH and Xero)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles
- Excellent telephone manner, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisation, data input, and attention to detail
- Able to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure
- Good business awareness and ability to use initiative

- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required
