We are seeking a Finance Business Partner with a forward-thinking, inquisitive mindset and a passion for driving business performance. This is an office-based role where you will play a pivotal part in shaping financial insight, partnering with stakeholders, and influencing strategic decisions.

Job Title: Finance Buisness Partner
Salary:
Up to 55,000 + benefits & bonus opportunities
Contract: Permanent, full-time (Mon-Thurs 08:30-17:00, Fri 08:30-15:30)
Location: Banbury (office-based)

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead AP & AR teams, manage cash flow and FX exposure, oversee compliance, and deliver high-quality commercial insight. This role goes beyond traditional reporting - you'll analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to help the business grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercial insight through budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, data analysis, trend analysis, and integrating financial information into strategic decisions.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the AP & AR teams, ensuring high performance and accuracy.

  • Prepare and present P&L forecasts, long- and short-term cash flow models, and commercial analysis to senior stakeholders.

  • Own FX exposure management and implement effective hedging or mitigation strategies.

  • Oversee duty deferment, bonded warehouse compliance, and bank reconciliations.

  • Manage rebate reconciliations and approvals in line with commercial policy.

  • Identify and implement process improvements across operational finance functions.

About You

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.

  • A commercially minded, inquisitive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and business partnering.

  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and trend analysis.

  • Skilled at translating financial data into actionable business insight.

  • Excellent leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
