Expleo is looking to hire a Technical Support Engineer on behalf of our prestigious customer based in the Warwickshire area. This is a contract role initially for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop and optimize test & development plans for vehicles and rigs.
- Define prototype vehicle specifications and oversee builds.
- Implement camouflage strategies for prototypes.
- Maintain and update prototype fleets (hardware/software).
- Manage end-of-life processes for prototype assets (resale, recycling, reuse).
Required Skills:
- Strong planning mindset and understanding of test methodologies.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and full product lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to present technical data and influence decisions.
- Experience in cross-functional environments and problem resolution.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in New Product Introduction and vehicle testing.
- Engineering industry experience (automotive or similar).
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.
Education:
Degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
