Due to an exciting expansion, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to manage and grow HVAC-related accounts across Bangor, Belfast, and the wider Northern Ireland region.
This is a customer-facing, field-based role focused on relationship building, technical consultation, and revenue growth.
We are looking for a driven Sales professional who wants a role which combines technical sales, account management, and wider operational duties including logistics and compliance. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both customer engagement and hands-on coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development - Identify and win new business opportunities, deliver technical presentations and proposals, prepare quotes/tenders, and close deals.
- Account Management - Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service and repeat business.
- Logistics & Operations - Coordinate stock, shipments, and deliveries with vendors and carriers, ensuring accurate records, compliance, and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Technical Support - Advise on product specifications, compliance standards, and provide engineering input where required.
- Market Insight - Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven sales experience in HVAC / Building services / Technical Sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and applications.
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings/specs.
- Experience managing regional sales and hitting targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Strong communicator and skilled negotiator.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and customer focused.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
