Essential
Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural, SEMH, or SEND needs.
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with challenging or vulnerable pupils.
Resilience, patience, and a calm, reflective approach.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Understanding of safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries.

Experience in a PRU, alternative provision, or specialist SEND setting.
Training in Team Teach, MAPA, or other behaviour intervention methods.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, restorative approaches, or therapeutic strategies.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 TA, Youth Work, Psychology, Counselling).
