Permanent Teacher of Psychology (Mainly KS5) - Outstanding Barking School (Psychology Department)
An outstanding school in Barking is seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Teacher of Psychology to join our thriving Psychology Department. This role will primarily focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons at Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with the possibility of some teaching at KS4 (GCSE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and in-depth Psychology lessons primarily to A-Level students.
- Foster a deep and critical understanding of advanced psychological concepts, theories, and research methods.
- Contribute to the development and enrichment of the A-Level Psychology curriculum within the Psychology Department.
- Assess and monitor student progress at A-Level, providing expert guidance and support for their academic success and progression to higher education.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Psychology Department, sharing best practices in teaching Psychology at the Sixth Form level.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Psychology or a closely related field.

- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the A-Level Psychology specification and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, specifically tailored to engaging and challenging Sixth Form students.
